The company was founded in 1980, as Tonk and Associates, to produce high temperature insulated wire and cable. In 1995 the factory changed it's constitution and became Tonk and Associates Pvt. Ltd., The principal product line remained high temperature wire and cable utilizing PTFE, Polyamide, Fiber Glass and other High Temperature insulations.

The Company also has product lines in ULTRA HIGH TEMPERATURE mica/glass braid insulations, LOW NOISE CABLES, RF, RG and a wide selection of THERMOCOUPLE WIRE. In addition, we added HIGH VOLTAGE and insulated RESISTANCE WIRE to our product range.

The Company utilizes both wrapped and extruded insulation with an extensive list of JSS approvals. The Company is approved to JSS 51034, JSS 54802, JSS 51038 and CQAL and also manufactures high temperature cable to MIL-W-16878, MIL-W-22759, MIL-C-17, MIL-C-27500 and a variety of other military specifications.
